I run trains for the continuous energy sistem. I also have an e-mail if you want some information about the model trains produced in Brazil, which is my country.
Google ho oo gauge & select the hobbiesplus link. There is a picture of carriages in N, HO, 00, & 0 gauges. That is an example of how different HO & 00 can look. Buildings & figures the scale difference isn’t too much of a problem.
Hornby are 00 gauge. They share the same track as HO. Some of the stuff, will look ok along with HO stuff, but other stuff the difference in sizes will stand out a lot.
