I bought this for my little girl for Christmas, and she loves it! She enjoys the fact that it takes her imagination into another world, and with all the accessories that you can get it is the perfect gift. Also the fact that these trains were once in operation, is a great way to introduce children to the value of history.

Lovely train set – my four year old loves it. However, he has managed to break it twice in two months – I think the recommended age for use should probably be 6 plus.

This was a really good starter set for my 9 year old son. he was able to get the track built and the train up and running within half an hour of delivery
