Given the price, I wasn’t exactly expecting a particularly durable toy, but even so, when it arrived, one of the track pieces was quite badly bent, and cracked, so the train derailed every time it ran over that piece of track. Don’t get me wrong, you get a lot in this set – a locomotive, six wagons and a coach, and three buildings, but if you can’t even run the train around the track, there doesn’t seem much point to it. I bought another set from another shop by the same manufacturer, and was very happy with it, so fortunately we have enough track to replace the broken piece. All in all, apart from that one piece of broken track, which was probably a one-off, we were very happy with this toy.
